 About the Society

Andhra Pradesh Ophthalmic Society (APOS) was formed in 1976 with a humble beginning under the able leadership of Dr. P. Siva Reddy. The society which was started from an idea of 5 ophthalmologists in 1976 grew to over 1300 members in 2014.

Due to the geographical division of Andhra Pradesh, the erstwhile APOS was divided into a new Andhra Pradesh Ophthalmic Society (APOS) and Telangana Ophthalmological Society (TOS).
